Welcome to Road Life!
Four and a half years ago, Donetta and I made a leap into the unknown. We had always dreamed of traveling the world while living a new adventure as wandering nomads. Home would be where we laid our heads.
Despite all of our research and planning, we had no clue how our crazy ass lifestyle would turn out. We just new we had to GO regardless of where we ended up. And we're so thankful we did. Road life has been epic!
This isn't to say our adventure travel has been perfect. Far from it. There have been challenges and hardships along the way for sure, but there have never been any regrets. Exploring the world around us has been priceless.
On our journey we've often discussed ideas about how we combine our interests, talents, and passions into something tangible as a potential business.
Road Life Magazine has been a publication we've written at since the beginning, though the name has changed a few times over the years thanks to my inability to find the perfect one. LOL! The idea was sharing our travel experiences while encouraging others to get out there to live their own adventures. Our goal is to grow this magazine in the years ahead, but indie publishing is also a hard business model. Yet we're committed to it and will do what we can to make it a success.
The other idea we had was creating an online shop that included a collection of products inspired by the adventure travel lifestyle.
We LOVE cool t-shirts, stickers, art, and other apparel items, and have spent quite a bit of money on these things during our time on the road. Why not design our own stuff and sell it as a way to keep our dream alive? Besides, there is a thriving community for this type of lifestyle and it makes sense to spend our time here. So that's what we're doing!
Donetta and I have a LOT of inspiration to draw from and now it's just about getting it done and out into the world.
Over the next few weeks we'll be updating our entire catalog of products and offering a range of items that are designed by us. We'll also be searching for other creatives who would like to offer their own road life stuff on our store.
We don't know where all this will all go, but just like we did in 2020, we'll take a leap of faith and enjoy the ride. We hope you'll join us!
